Yesterday at the Serpentarium there were all kinds of cockroaches! 8D The giant cockroaches were enjoying a nice orange peel along with their young. The albino diamondback rattlesnakes are still there, we've watched them grow from hatchlings C: one individual in particular isn't too fond of people pressing their faces up to the glass, so he starts to puff and rattle while the more calm individual above just doesn't really seem to care who looks.
Well, my mom and I came to pick up some food for my snakes, but there were no medium sized rats for the ball python so all I got was a fuzzy pinkie for the hognose.
What's funny, is that my little hognose sees me with the paper bag and he races to the front of the cage all excited. x3
He's so old, I've had him for 12 years now, and the ball python for 10 years. The Serpentarium's been in business for 20.
Geez I've been going there since I was in, like, 1st grade! Kind of unbelievable...}

I seriously look forward to your works, I wish I would use more mixed media.

Snakes are very easy to care for, and they're practically lifetime companions.
My little hognose is very old for his species, sometimes he won't recognize me when I go to clean his cage and he hisses and puffs. Reminds me of a crabby old man xD}

I wish my parents would go for that! We just have cats, and to them 4 cats is MORE than enough! xD
Perhaps once I'm living on my own I'll get some snakes. I really love California king snakes (the black and white striped ones) but I'm not sure how their temperament is and how they'd be as pets.
