Artist's Comments

Edit: multiple scan to replace photo.
Koi fish sketched first in sumi ink, then overlayed with colored tissue paper and finally japanese watercolors.
Used white lacy tissue paper for the backround, and added various blues and metallic colors while the paper was still wet to create a stained 'watery' effect.
This was from last year in November, and it took one weekend to do.
